001.Your father Joe Butler is a musician. Have you ever had the ambition to do something with music yourself?

My father is the musician in the family and still plays with his rock band The Lovin 'Spoonful, which started in 1965. I just recently sang for the first

time on camera in a movie that has yet to be released called ‘Last Call in the Dog House’. I was so nervous, but people said they enjoying it.

002.You sometimes hear that every character that an actor or actress plays contains something of itself. Do you agree with this and could

Natasha belong to your own circle of friends?

Yes, I do agree. I can only speak for myself, but I think I bring a little bit of myself to each into character I play. Natasha could certainly be a friend of

mine. I would hang out with her.

003.At what point in your career are you so far most proud and/or do you keep the best memories?

I think I am most proud of receiving the Saturn Award in 2002 as Best Actress for my role on the TV series “Witchblade”. I had to compete against

Jessica Alba in her role for “Dark Angel”, Gillian Anderson in her role for “The X Files”, Claudia Black in her role for “Farscape”, Sarah Michelle Gellar

in her role for “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” and Kristen Kreuk in her role for “Smallville”. I was just blown away that I was even nominated, let alone

       won.

004.What is most important to you: winning a prize for your work, whether the press is enthusiastic about your work or the public is

       enthusiastic about your work?

The press has called me both a good and a not so good actress. I think what’s the most important to me is when I know I've done a good job on a

character, or even the work for a particular day, and feel as if I've hit very mark there is for that character. I feel the best when that happens. I assume

it's what it feels like to hit a home run. What also feels wonderful is nice feedback from fans. My fans mean so much to me and when I hear that I've

touched them in some way, it makes my heart sing.

005.Over the years you have worked with several Hollywood stars. However, who impressed you the most?

I’ve had the extreme pleasure of working with some major actors. I really enjoyed working with Wesley Snipes in the movie ‘Drop Zone’ from 1994.

He is such a gifted actor. There are so many people I’d like to work with it's hard to narrow it down. In the future I would like to see myself on a good

TV series with a great ensemble cast.

006.How do you look back on the TV series “Witchblade” from 2001?

I was not familiar with the comic book the series was based on beforehand and that was the challenge. To please the diehard comic book fans with

the new TV series. I loved playing the character Sara Pezzini and the series was so wonderfully written. Almost every fan of the comic book said they

enjoyed the series, so we were happy with that.

007.What can we expect from you in the future in showbiz?

I play the part of Mary in the movie ‘Last Call in the Dog House’. In episode 4 of the miniseries ‘Diary of a Lunatic’ I can be seen as Clarissa. In the

movie ‘Severed Silence’ I play the role of Hana. I am also involved in this film as an Associate Producer.
